Tuckered Out

This was another picture from Zoo Boo....I think it's hysterical, so I had to post. Jonas was really good all day, all the babies were.....but man, once he was tired he was out.

From the stroll to the car, up the extremely bumpy path, into the car and the hour and a half car ride home...he didn't look much different then this....talk about tired!

Skater Dude

Jonas is getting so big....he's starting to look like a little boy more and more and less and less like a baby...which has mixed emotions. I love this outfit, it makes me think he's a little skate dude (maybe he'll be a National Champion or something and support his parents)

Zoo Boo

That's right, it's the perfect time of year to dress your child up, make them look silly (and cute) and take tons of picures of them. But, of course, as parents...you can't just do that at home, you need an excuse to do this.....so you (as responsible parents that is) take them to zoo boo!

Jonas was really good even though it was a long day for him. And he loved seeing his baby friends.

That's right....we have 2 bottom teeth. They have actually been up for a few weeks, but Jonas has been very shy about showing them off, up until this past week. He now growls at his grandma's dog when they play together, and sticks his bottom teeth out when doing it. It's amazing what he's learning from the dog...heeheee

Ahhhhh....A Smile

A smile is a very rare occurrence for us......the camera is very
interesting to Jonas, so interesting every time he sees or hears
it he just stares blankly at it (think deer in headlights
kind of stare).





Needless to say....we have many pictures that will embarrass him greatly when he's older

Pumpkin Patch

We took Jonas to the pumpkin patch the first weekend in October....it was HOT! Far too hot for pumpkin picking weather, but all in all, despite the heat, it was a successful day.

Jonas rode in a little red wagon, picked his own pumpkin and got to pet a 5 day old goat.....the goat was the perfect size for him!

Eating...Made Fun!

We got the ok at Jonas's 4 month appointment to start him on cereal. And, we finally got around to buying him a highchair, so put two and two together and you have a happy little baby boy!

My feeding time with him didn't go well....he was nawling on the tray of the chair, but then Daddy came along and started in on the airplane noises....and this is what we got:

We're on a Road to Nowhere

Jonas seems to like his jumperoo.....but I have to wonder if at some point he's going to realize he's not getting anywhere and get annoyed.

It entertains him for approximately 20 minutes now. I read online reviews and most parents said it entertained their kids for an hour at least! I guess Jonas doesn't like being in the "hole"

Back in Black

Daddy decided to order Jonas onesies...

because according to daddy.....

mommie dresses Jonas like a "frat boy".

I guess what daddy doesn't realize is that, he was, during a previous life, a frat boy himself

When friends invite you to dinner......stay!

So we ventured to Airville this weekend to meet the girls, Chloe and Lily. They are doing very well for being born at 31.5 weeks, and we stayed and chatted for a long time. Jonas was actually very content and seemed to be having a lot of fun with Oliver the cat....but at 5pm, we decided to head home, because Jay was getting sleepy.
Turning down a dinner invitation seemed to be our downfall as we unintentionally sat through the Eureka Fireman's Parade in Stewartstown PA.
The parade goers seemed to be having a wonderful time, and yes the dairy princess waved to us.....however, when the diary princess is blocking your only route home, you would rather her be somewhere, anywhere else then waving to you on a parade float

My Name is Jonas

Everyone thinks we named him after the Weezer song.....

actually I had never heard of the song until after we picked the name. I guess I should buy him this album as a keepsake or something.
But...yes, his name is Jonas...and he is the light of our lives
